Dennis Thorne has
been involved in music doing live sound work for country artist
Keith Bryant for the last several years. Thorne also plays the
guitar and has been doing acoustic shows when The opportunity
presents itself. When he’s not spending time with his loving
family, beautiful wife Dawn and their four children, then performing
on a stage is where you'll find him.
Dennis also assisted in forming the very first open mic music series
in Historic Downtown Lexington Virginia, a very prominent, affluent
community in the southern part of the state. He co-hosted the
event held on Thursday evenings along with other fellow singer
songwriters and opened, sat in, and closed every show. |

The ability to improvise allows Dennis to lend his talents to
various bands, recording sessions, and live shows. Requests are
often presented for his experience in running sound, performing on
an album, or filling in for a missing band member so the show can go
on. Thorne’s vast knowledge of the music industry as a whole makes
him a very valuable asset to most any performance production.
His ties to Nashville keep him in the mix there and his local
lifestyle in this area provides incredible talent that you wouldn’t
expect to find in this region.
As a songwriter, Dennis continues to work on his craft and
has had a cut on the debut release of Ken Mahon. The
Lucky One was pitched to Nashville Record Executives and
selected for the album. This record still produces sales at
live shows and concert series to this day.
Thorne is still writing and hopes to cut a demo album soon
with his original material. |
